The arrival of a baby is such a special time in our lives and brings such joy to not only the parents, but to the extended family. This is an opportunity to celebrate the arrival of this little person, welcome them into the world, and formally bestow on them their name.
Guardians, grandparents and family members can be acknowledged and honoured for the part they will have to play in the child’s life, and the responsibilities they will undertake.
This is a civil ceremony and an alternative to a religious christening, allowing the child to choose their own beliefs later in life.
